Your new role 
Are you ready to make an impact for a safer society? Working as a Fraud Assist Advisor for NAB Fraud Operations space, you’ll gain extensive exposure to a variety of fraud prevention strategies.As a Fraud Assist Advisor, you will be the first point of contact (phone and chat) for any concerns around fraud or scams for both customers and internal stakeholders.
Day to day, you will be responsible for:

• Addressing fraud related enquiries via calls and/or chats from customers and other NAB staff to address fraud
• Assessing data and information provided to determine if fraud is likely to occur and what steps need to be taken next
• Opening fraud investigations to try to recover any losses & working with other banks to help protect consumers and businesses
• Identifying new fraud trends and having protection put in place to keep our clients safe. 
• Making outbound calls to notify the customer that their account was compromised and providing solutions
• Educating victims of fraud on ways to protect their accounts and information

In this role you will learn to proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements. 
This role is an initial full-time 12-month temporary assignment with the opportunity to extend or permanency. 
You will be paid an hourly rate of $34.58 per hour + Super and will have flexible working arrangements.
You will need to be flexible to work on a rotating roster from Mon – Fri between 7 am – 7 pm & Sat between 8 am – 12 pm. (5 days a week) There might be opportunities to work outside these hours and earn penalty rates on your shift (*subject to availability)

What you'll need to succeed 

Customer service experience (retail or hospitality) is necessary.

Previous Fraud or Call Centre experience desirable but not mandatory 

Flexibility to work on a rotating roster across the week, including weekends and Victorian public holidays

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer focus with a genuine willingness to help them.
