About the Role
This newly created role is responsible for advising and supporting managers, as well as coordinating daily Work Health Safety and Injury Management activities. The role involves assessing safety risks and existing controls, and developing practical additional controls as needed, including WHS documentation, employee resources, and educational materials. Additionally, the role involves working with operations and managers to support injured workers and oversee RTW plans.
About You
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a relevant WHS role, including managing work cover claims and return to work plans
- Broad knowledge of WHS, IM, risk management principles, and related legislation, with strong report writing and internal customer service skills
- Excellent relationship building, planning, and time management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technology systems
- Qualifications or certificates in WHS or a related HR field, or relevant years of experience, with a desire for on-the-job learning and growth
