About the Role:
As a member of the People & Culture team at CPA Australia, the People & Culture Advisor plays a crucial role reporting to the Head of P&C Business Partners. Working closely with both the P&C Business Partners and P&C Operation Teams, this role focuses on providing essential support to foster a productive and positive work environment.
The People & Culture Advisor acts as a trusted advisor, offering guidance to leaders and employees on a range of HR matters including policy implementation, employee relations, reporting, project management, and talent acquisition practices. By doing so, they contribute significantly to enhancing the overall employee experience within the organization.
This role is pivotal in aligning with and implementing the P&C Strategy and goals, ensuring they are effectively integrated throughout the organization to cultivate a supportive and engaging workplace culture.
This opportunity is a fixed term parental leave contract from July 2024 - July 2025.
Key Duties:
- Support Employee Lifecycle activities from contract reviews, goal setting, reviews and exit interviews.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team with key recruitment activities including candidate management, interviewing and reference checks.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Business Partner team.
- Act as a SAP SuccessFactors ‘PeopleHub' SME, you will support P&C members, leaders, and employees in recording and maintaining data effectively, analyzing insights to drive smart solutions, improving processes and systems for a better employee experience, and coaching for cultural change to align with CPA Australia's objectives and business strategies.
- Support policy delivery, advice, and compliance with HR practices and legislative changes.
- Advise on employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations.
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in human resource management, business, or related discipline
- Generalist HR experience essential
- Knowledge of contemporary HR management practices
- Strong communication, relationship management and influencing skills.
- Passionate, self-starter able to work independently.
- Ability to interpret and analyse data.
- Strong team player who looks for opportunities to help
