Today, the FRED brand continues to epitomize an unconditional love of gemstones, pearls and golden light, creating collections that burst with radiant elegance.

Currently, we have boutiques in Sydney and Gold Coast, and we are excited to open our first brand New Boutique in Melbourne, on Russell Street. We are thus looking for one experienced Assistant Boutique Manager / Supervisor to join us by the end of March to open this New Boutique on 5th April 2024.

Reporting to the Boutique Manager, as a member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the store exceeds sales plan and profitability targets while providing outstanding customer service. You will effectively supervise, develop, and support staff to meet and/or exceed individual sales plan with a strong focus on client development and providing a high level of customer service. You will work in line with the strategic direction set by FRED Management Team and the Boutique Manager. You will possess a strong understanding of jewellery, manufacturing, and product knowledge.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Sales Management
    • Assist Boutique Manager to achieve and exceed boutique sales target by setting sales targets 
    • Utilize various reports to review and analyze business results in order to purpose action plan to reach targets
    • Conduct market research on market trend, competitors’ sales to share with management
    • Be responsible for KPIs achievement
       
  2. Staff Management
    • Manage, coach and motivate staff to achieve sales goals
    • Establish accountabilities & performance expectations for staff
    • Ensure the grooming of the staff is aligned with the guidelines of the brand
    • Encourage and support individual development of staff and build succession pipeline in the store
    • Assist Boutique Manager to conduct daily briefing to ensure target achievement and communication
       
  3. Inventory Management
    • Be responsible for inventory management, i.e. managing stock level
    • Supervise stock transfer, stock take and inventory counts
    • Ensure stock and back up storage is effectively managed in an organized manner
       
  4. Visual Merchandising & Store Maintenance
    • Ensure timely window and interior product display rotation, including new products and best seller items, in order to maximize sales opportunity and meet brand guidelines
    • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping for both sales floor, window, counters and stock rooms at all time
       
  5. Customer Service (including after-sales service)
    • Ensure best customer services & brand experience to customers to achieve high customer satisfaction
    • Ensure satisfactory after sales service to customers in store
    • Attend to customer complaints when necessary
       
  6. CRM
    • Coordinate in-store events with Marketing team
    • Lead the team to acquire, build and maintain key customers
    • Implement activities to drive customer repeat visit and build customer loyalty
       

Skills and Experience Required

  • At least 4+ years of retail operations & management experience;
  • Proven ability to meet & exceed KPI's;
  • Demonstrates a team player attitude with great interpersonal skills;
  • An understanding of all in store retail operations;
  • A strong leader with the ability to coach and develop individuals;
  • A hands on, inclusive and dynamic management style;
  • Strong stock management with an eye for detail;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be agile.
