- Baseline Security Clearance required
Our Federal Government client is seeking multiple Freedom of Information Officers at the APS 5 to join any of their offices in Adelaide, Canberra, Newcastle or Sydney.
The successful candidate must have effective time and workload management skills with the ability to manage a large number of FOI matters to legislative requirements.
Duties
- Process FOI requests
- Provide high quality FOI advice to staff
- Prepare correspondence on routine matters and draft documentation on complex matters for review by senior staff
- Maintain and file records in accordance with information management processes and security requirements
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in legislation, policies, procedures and information management requirements relevant to the FOI function
- Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook experience
- Experience as a FOI decision maker
