An APS5 Information and Records Management Officer will be accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to their area of responsibility. They will interpret and provide advice within the information function based on legislation, policy and procedures. They will undertake specialist research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessment and investigations and perform clerical and administrative support work to achieve results.
The APS5 Information and Records Management Officer will coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistent to a work plan and provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members.
The APS5 Information and Records Management Officer may be required to engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. They will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.About our Team
The Joint Command and Control Systems Program Office (JC2SPO) is responsible for the acquisition, integration and sustainment of command, and control warfare systems for the Australian Defence Force across the country and in operational theatres overseas.
These capabilities include computer applications that support planning and conduct of operations, including IT infrastructure and command and control systems for deployed military forces across the five Domains.
JC2SPO acquires and sustains joint-information warfare capabilities that are mission critical to all three services of the Australian Defence Force.Our Ideal Candidate

- Prepare security classified information in accordance with Defence requirements;
- Implement relevant policies and procedures to physical and electronic records;
- Review and advise on governance requirements, maintaining currency and integrity of relevant systems;
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement;
- Work collaboratively as an effective team member;
- Interpret and comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks;
- Take initiative to investigate and recommend solutions for complex issues;
- Coordinate and supervise the work of others undertaking a similar activities and tasks.
