Salary@EnLog Dangerous Goods, we specialize in the safe handling & transport of various DG's. We are offering a full-time role within our Brisbane branch where you will work alongside our team in coordinating all aspects of shipments of specialised freight. This is an ideal opportunity for you to expand your knowledge of DGs in the Freight & Logistics industry.
Working closely within our team, your duties will include, but are not limited to;
Assisting in coordinating shipments in & out of the Brisbane branch.
Liaising with Clients, suppliers, and our branches throughout Australia.
Computer literacy essential as a lot of your correspondence for coordinating will be via email.
Confident & pleasant phone manner is essential, as is your ability to prioritise and manage your workload.
Creating accurate documentation to accompany shipments. You must have a good eye for detail and an ability to understand rules & regulation.
Local deliveries & collections within Brisbane metro, some trips outside of metro or interstate may be required.
Our ideal new team member will be self-motivated, keen & confident with a positive attitude, and willingness to learn with training in all aspects of warehousing & movements of DGs.
Manual labour will be involved, so you must be fit to work hands-on in varied roles within the warehouse, office & at times on site.
Essential for this role;
Reliable & reputable with a commitment to follow all compliance requirements, company policies & procedures.
You must be coachable & possess excellent communication skills.
Current Police Clearance (no more than 3 mths old), or the ability to have a clear police clearance upon starting;
Current QLD driver’s license;
Current QLD Forklift ticket;
Computer experience, good literacy & numeracy skills to prepare documents to accompany freight.
Desirable;
An understanding of Freight & warehouse operations;
Experience in Transport/Freight or Logistics industry;
Any DG experience or knowledge would be advantageous;
LR/HR driver’s license also advantageous, but not essential.
