Our agile teams are empowered to innovate and deliver an excellent experience for our customers - whether they shop in-store or online.What you'll doAs a Front End Engineer at WooliesX, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users interact with in a web application. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create a smooth and enjoyable user experience. This role demands a high level of expertise in modern front-end technologies and a keen eye for detail in UI/UX design.

• Develop new user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into functional and visually appealing web pages whilst collaborating with backEnd Developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Implement and maintain automated testing for front-end components (e.g., unit tests, end-to-end tests) and debug and resolve issues across browsers and devices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and proactively suggest and implement improvements to front-end architecture and workflows.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role with a strong proficiency in HTML, CSS,JavaScript,Typescript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with Front End build tools, task runners, version control systems, such as Git and strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design and tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Knowledge of browser testing and debugging.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in addition to strong communication and teamwork skills.
