Russo Estate is seeking an experienced person to join our team for an immediate start.
Russo Estate is Family-Owned Winery located in Diggers Rest, open Wednesday to Sunday for Lunch and Dinner. We provide a la carte dining, weddings, events and luxury dome accommodation. With a seasonal menu full of local produce offers itself to a refined casual dining experience with a relaxed attentive service approach.
We are looking for a highly organised person who can multitask and provide our guests to an amazing wine & dining experience.
A little bit about you:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for all things hospitality! Do you love leading a team and training them to provide the best customer experience? Can you work in a fast pace restaurant? Are you organised? If so, then you might be the person for us!
Qualifications & experience:
- Experience in a similar position for more than 2 years
- Have current RSA
- Tasks & responsibilities
- Wine and beverage knowledge
- Experience in Ordermate is a plus
- Coffee Making
- Basic Bartending
The role:
- Assist F&B Operations
- Work Closely with our Head Chef and Events Manager
- Be hands on approach
- Ensure a customer-focused service
- Work as a team with F&B operations, event management, and other teams
- Effectively communicate with customers
- Lead the team and foster a positive culture amongst the FOH and BOH team
To be successful in the position you will need:
- demonstrated experience within the hospitality industry, with proven leadership of a restaurant team
- intermediate computer skills and ability to adapt to new systems
- proven experience leading and managing a team to achieve operational outcomes
- ability to work a flexible roster including late evenings, early starts, weekends and public holidays.
- Hard working attitude
- Exceptional ability to think 4 steps ahead
- Very organised and can problem solve
- Stays calm in a stressful situation
