The Role:
As the Front of House Manager, you will be at the foreFront of ensuring exceptional service delivery and seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a fluctuating pool of casual staff, ensuring adequate coverage for events and functions.
- Recruiting, training, and managing staff to maintain high standards of service excellence.
- Collaborating closely with the sales and operations teams to execute events flawlessly.
- Serving as a strong communicator between Front of House staff and the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination during service.
- Demonstrating the ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively address any challenges that may arise.
This role will see yourself working 60% in office and 40% throughout service during functions
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing and onboarding staff, with a focus on training and development.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills, with the ability to maintain detailed records and manage schedules effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with staff, clients, and other team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in hospitality management or event coordination is highly desirable.
