Front of House Staff

We looking for motivated and outgoing people to join the Rose Hotel Team!

We are continuing to build our Front of House service teams at the Rose Hotel, bulking up the service team for summer. We are seeking legendary humans to work in our bars and food service departments. Got a lot of energy? Love talking to people?….APPLY NOW!

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General FOH duties including but not limited to; food & beverage service and customer service.

Cash handling

• Accuracy of cash handling
• operating cash registers, handling cash responsibly and ensuring the security of cash

Customer service

• Communicating warmly, friendly, respectfully and effectively to create the best experience for the guests
• Initiating conversation with customers when appropriate and opportunities arise
• Clearing and cleaning tables and the bar
• Warmly greeting and seating customers in line with bookings practices and special events
• Taking customers’ orders and assisting them to make menu selection decisions
• Opening and closing the bar and floor areas to a high standard.

Personal Presentation

• Presenting oneself in accordance with the venue’s dress standards
• Maintaining service standards particularly during peak periods
• Maintain a ‘Can-do’ attitude in the face of adversity.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• RSA Certification
• Basic cellar awareness (preferred)
• Basic Product knowledge (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to the service industry
