Beachfront Voyager is currently seeking a Casual Front Office & Guest Relations manager
Successful candidates must have previous experience in the same or similar role, excellent written and verbal communication skills and have an eye for detail.
The ideal person will be thorough, highly customer orientated, warm and friendly with a strong work ethic.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The property enjoys a large corporate market
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be required to provide efficient and professional service to our guests. Daily duties will include:
- Taking reservations, cash balancing and reconciliation.
- Inputting and updating reservation details.
- Promptly responding to guest inquiries.
- Superior problem solving skills.
- Following procedures to ensure that routine shift check list tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Handing over relevant information to the next shift to facilitate continuity of service.
- Developing sound knowledge of hotel facilities, room configurations and services offered.
- Staff Rostering
- Wages and Date Entering Myob
Applicants must have experience in a similar hotel environment as Front Office and guest relations proffessionals.
Knowledge and experience with the RMS 9+ property management software is essential.
You will be expected to have flexibility to be available across a seven day working week rotational roster, based on demands and requirements of the hotel. Shifts include mornings, evenings, weekends and public holiday shifts.
