Front Office Supervisor

Palms City Resort, a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Darwin’s CBD, is seeking a motivated Front Office Supervisor to join the Front Office Team. 

This role includes Reception duties in addition to administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Front Office department. The successful candidate will be a tourism industry professional who loves a challenge and thrives in a fast-paced environment. 
 

Duties include;

• Conducting all standard Front Office duties inclusive of; guest arrivals and departures, processing reservations, attending to guest concerns etc;
• Onboarding, training, and rostering of the Front Office Team;
• Working alongside the Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food and Beverage teams to ensure all maintenance issues have been rectified and guest requests are attended to;
• Oversee all Group bookings and special booking requests;
• Actively manage rate distribution across all booking channels ensuring optimisation of revenue;
• Communicate with all third party booking agents to ensure agreements are in place to enhance sales opportunities;
• Oversee the processing of financial reconciliation of all Front Office accounts;

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a hotel/resort as a duty manager or higher position;
• outstanding work ethic and a positive attitude;
• strong multi-tasking capabilities with experience thinking on your feet;
• a strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills;
• high level of computer literacy with previous RMS experience highly regarded; 
• willingness to embrace a flexible rotating roster, including some evening, weekend and public holiday shifts;
• proven experience in leading great teams with a positive culture to provide excellent customer service;
• online booking platform experience desirable;
