We are a Brisbane Based family-owned bookkeeping firm that provides end to end/ full service bookkeeping to our amazing small business clients that range across various industries. We love what we do, we love supporting our clients and are looking for the right person to join us who is eager to learn and grow their bookkeeping / accounts career, in this hands on but well supported role.
The role is a Full Time - Work From Home position (yay) This means the hours of work are normal business hours (the expectation is that you are fully available during these hours - however we are supportive of working parents and having a great work / life balance and so school pick ups ect are fine)
We are ideally looking for a Brisbane Based Bookkeeper but will consider other locations. Please tell us where you are based in your cover letter :)
Qualifications & experience
To be successful in this role :
- You will have a private office or quiet space to Work From a working computer/laptop & reliable internet connection, with the ability to have 2 screens (essential)
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (essential)
- At least 3 years previous bookkeeping and payroll experience (preferred)
- Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliations including Payroll liability accounts, Loans, GST and Inter company Loan Accounts.
- Strong reconciliation skills highly regarded
- Advanced Xero & MYOB knowledge & experience (Xero = essential)
- Highly organized - with the ability to juggle multiple clients with various and different requirements
- Capacity to manage various deadlines
- A great attitude is a MUST 😊
- Comfortable with technology, apps, and learning new things.
Tasks & responsibilities
- (AP) Processing and coding Accounts Payable supplier invoices
- (AR) Accounts Receivable Data Entry & Reconcile customer deposits
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
- EOM Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Weekly payroll Finalizations
- GST and Payroll Liability Reconciliations
