Greenroom Robotics is on a mission to make safer and cleaner oceans through the ethical application of maritime autonomy. We make advanced software and AI for planning, operating, analysing and simulating maritime missions with autonomous robots – ranging from the world’s deepest diving submarine to fully autonomous ships.
Role and Duties
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with experience crafting beautiful web-based UIs to support providing our customers the best experience when using Greenroom products. (Robotics experience is a huge bonus!).You will utilise and build upon the Greenroom Platform - a cutting-edge robotic tech stack whose mission is to solve the highly technical challenges of maritime autonomy.
You will work with a team of talented, personable and creative engineers and software developers with a proven track record of solving and delivering complex robotics problems in the maritime domain.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Professional experience with Web UI technologies using Typescript and React/similar
- UI/UX Design
- A love of strongly typed languages
- Experience with GraphQL, REST and WebSockets
- Experience SQL databases, query plan optimisation and scaling workloads
- Experience with docker, CI/CD, unit / integration / e2e testing
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- A strong understanding of Agile project management
Bonus Points for experience with:
- Robotics concepts and architectures such as ROS2, DDS
- Video streaming & WebRTC
- Unreal Engine / Game Engines
- Web-based 3D such as Three.js, WebGL
- Rust & Web Assembly
- Infrastructure management (IaC/Terraform, Kubernetes, cloud providers, security)
- Advanced mathematics, physics, linear algebra, control theory
- Data-science / Machine learning / Computer Vision.
Rates and Location
- Location: Alexandria, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
- Salary: Competitive, depending on the role and experience.
