We are currently recruiting for a Integrated Aviation Security Site Manager to be based at Newcastle Airport on a Full-Time basis.

As an Aviation Security Site Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused security services while creating safe and memorable travel experiences for travellers and visitors transiting through Newcastle Airport.

The Position
As the Aviation Protection Officer you will be responsible for:
- Ability to lead, motivate and direct a team of security professionals in a fast-paced ever-changing team environment
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to security and safety procedures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with customers, consistently providing a high quality, memorable experience utilising excellent verbal communication skills.
- Consistently display professional standards of behaviour and personal presentation
- Manage the administration of the security team in accordance with organisational and client requirements
- Manage team member performance under the scope of service provisions and ensure a safe working environment
Skills and Experience
You will have:
- Ability to obtain/endorsed for Aviation Transport Security Protection Qualification (TSP)
- Ability to successfully pass Drug and Alcohol screening and Medical assessments
- Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance)
- Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
- Previous Grandfathered screeners (supporting evidence required)
- Previous Security Leadership or Supervisory experience
- Intermediate computer literacy (Windows based software)
- Excellent presentation and professional appearance
