The Position:

This is a Full time, 38 hour per week role.
Key duties:
Ensuring food preparation, cooking and presentation is of a high standard at all times.
Assist in menu development and planning.
Demonstrate, implement and maintain effective cost control strategies for both product and labour.
Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with relevant regulatory authorities.
Ensure HACCP and OHS compliance and maintain correct food safety procedures.
Work independently and as part of a team to achieve specified objectives as determined by both venue and group stakeholders.
The Person:
Reporting to the Head Chef and General Manager you will be able to work a rotating roster over 5 days including lunch and dinner.
You must be passionate about food and able to lead by example, with drive, enthusiasm and attention to detail.
You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to motivate and develop staff, and be adept at maintaining a positive team environment.
You must have the ability to work under pressure.
You will have successfully completed Cert IV in Commercial Cookery

Suitable candidates will be offered a salary of $70,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience
