Therefore, we are excited to invite applications for a Full TimeHead Chef to join our friendly team.
Currently our kitchen offers a breakfast service and in house conference catering 7 days a week, plus a dinner service 4 nights a week - Monday to Thursday.

About the role:
The successful candidate will lead our kitchen team whilst delivering superior, consistent food to ensure a high-quality experience for our valued guests.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Ensure the delivery of high quality modern Australian cuisine that exceeds the customer expectations
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Prepare and maintain menu
- Manage stock, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability while minimizing waste
- Ensure all proper food handling, sanitation and food storage regulations are followed per government health and safety standards
- Foster positive working relationships with fellow kitchen staff, front of house staff, other departments and management.
- Work with fellow staff to accommodate and plan for conference catering requirements
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation
About you:
- Prior Head Chef experience working within a fast paced kitchen
- Professional and positive attitude
- A passion for food and the Hospitality Industry
- Career minded, with the desire to grow within the Industry and the Business
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including inventory management, cost control, and food safety protocols
- Flexible with roster, ability to work a variety of mornings, nights and weekends as required
- Ability to supply a national police check
Salary dependent on level of experience.
