Our celebrated restaurant is a top destination for lovers of great Italian-styled food and wine. To further enhance our reputation, we are now looking for skilled and qualified full-time Cooks and Chefs to join our kitchen team and contribute to our ongoing success.Location: 472 Dean St, Albury, NSW
Salary: A salary in the range of $70k to $80k plus superannuation per annum will be offered to the successful applicants.
Tenure: This is a full-time, ongoing position.Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading and inspiring the kitchen team to deliver the best results.
- Prepare and cook meals under the supervision of senior chefs.
- Assist in managing kitchen consumables, stock takes, ordering, cost control, and budgeting.
- Participate in the development and testing of new menu items.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S and Food Safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to lead the venue to greater success.
You have a passion for the hospitality industry and stay updated on techniques and food trends. You demonstrate an unwavering commitment to flavour and presentation of the highest quality while contributing to a cohesive and hardworking team environment.To Be Successfully Considered You:
- Possess excellent relevant post-secondary hospitality (cooking) qualifications, to at least Certificate IV level or an agreed alternative.
- Have at least 2 - 3 years of professional experience.
- Are available across the working week, including weekends and nights.
- Offer proven ability to prioritise, set goals, and have the determination to achieve them.
- Possess a thorough understanding of food safety and HACCP.
- Understand cost control, time management, prioritisation, and cost-efficient procurement practices.
- Have substantial experience working in a similar role.
- Are an excellent team player with great communication skills.
- Offer unrestricted full-time Australian working rights.
