We are looking for experienced and dedicated Chef who is committed to exceeding our customers'
expectations whilst leading a professional and hardworking team. The eligible candidates will be
performing the following duties:
Designing and updating menu and prices as per the needs of the business.
Consistently ensuring all dishes are prepared to our high standard.
Controlling and directing food preparation process and any other kitchen related duties.
Monitor and record of inventory and if necessary, order supplies.
Ensure OH&S and food hygiene requirements are met.
Work unsupervised and in a team while maintaining a secure and friendly working
environment.
Assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ordering and stock control.
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
Advanced understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service
Experience in Italian cuisine a strong advantage.
2 + years of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment
Qualifications in commercial cookery - Cert IV or higher
Flexible availability
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Effective communication skills
Overall knowledge of operations, ordering, stock control and working to budgets
