M. L Steelfixing Pty Ltd is a Sydney based civil, infrastructure, residential and commercial steel and concrete installation provider. M. L Steelfixing is determined to meet project targets and maintain a high-quality standard.
We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Formwork Carpenter to join our team for M.L Steelfixing Pty Ltd ongoing work throughout Sydney and NSW.
The role
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Studying blueprints and building plans
- Ordering and selecting timbers and materials, and preparing layouts
- Setting frames and levels
- Cutting, assembling and nailing plywood to construct formwork
- Constructing concrete formwork as per project requirements
- Construction of other forms to contain concrete for other applications
- Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
- Effectively utilizing hand and power tools and carrying out WHS requirement
- Communicating with clients to understand requirements and respond to change orders
- Prepared to assist other trades
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years relevant experience (Preferred)
- Machinery: 2 years (Preferred)
- Construction White Card
- Trade Qualifications: Relevant carpentry qualifications.
Desirable Skills:
- Safety procedures knowledge
- Positive, can do attitude and enjoy working in a team
- Valid Driving License and transport
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be able to provide a current National Police Clearance Check.
Position type: Full-Time
Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000 annually
