The Company has an exciting opportunity for two full-time Funeral Directors to join our team based in Wangaratta. These roles are an integral part of our business and your care and empathy for our client families is essential. This role will be required to participate in the after hours on-call roster which includes some weekend and after hours work.
In this role you will:
- Funeral director duties including planning and arranging funeral services, memorialization and answering general queries from client families
- Build professional and ongoing relationships with families engaging in services
- participate in the after hours on-call roster including transfers of the deceased and bringing them into our care
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail
- Well groomed and professionally presented
- Physically fit to fulfill the requirements of the role
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a time
- A current driver license
- Available to participate in the shared after hours on-call roster

Funeral industry experience is not required, training and development will be provided to the right candidate.
