Our client is an allied health clinic that primarily provides assessment and intervention to clients across a range of ages. As a Speechie, you will be responsible for:
Diagnosing, assessing, and providing evidence-based intervention for a variety of clients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
Providing education to clients and caregivers and creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of clients (infants, children, adolescents, and adults)
Keeping detailed progress notes, writing assessment reports, funding reports, referral letters, and creating and reviewing goals based on the outcomes of assessment.
Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals with consent.
Participating in care-team meetings for clients as and when required.
