Position Summary :
As a Consultant your primary responsibility is to scope, design and deliver solutions that enhance IT ecosystems. You will be required to work collaboratively with a team (which may include mentoring colleagues and helping to develop their skillsets) to build out and expand upon system architecture from concept through to delivery.
If you have the additional responsibility of Engagement Lead on a project, supplementary to the above, you will oversee the delivery of specified RKDN engagements, outcomes and personnel. You will be required to work collaboratively with both the engagement team and client to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.
Key Requirements :
1. Technical Skills:
- Experience in DevOps/other relevant project delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of data applications.
- Ability to analyse client business requirements and develop technical solutions
- Strong skills in problem-solving and troubleshooting system issues.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate, and readable documentation.
- High-level skill in Microsoft Office products.
2. Business Analysis and Software Development:
- Experience in business analysis, including gathering and analysing requirements, designing solutions, running customer workshops, and documentation.
- Technical experience in software development or configuration of applications.
- Understanding of the Agile framework and Waterfall methodology.
3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate and work toward common goals with others.
- Demonstrate a dedicated, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.

5. Compliance and Security
- Maintain a current Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance and adhere to federal guidelines and regulations relevant to each project/engagement
Job Responsibility :
1. Requirements Analysis and Solution Scoping:
- Conduct analysis workshops with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in scoping technology solutions using client business requirements.
- Analyse information needs and specify technology to meet those needs.
2. Collaboration and Peer Review:
- Conduct peer reviews of work where applicable.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client briefs align with requirements/expectations.
3. Configuration, Development, and Implementation:
- Configure solutions.
- Perform system testing and training
- Conduct necessary quality assurance processes
4. Training and Client Support:
- Deliver technical internal and external training on configured solutions.
- Provide training and support services to clients.
- Conduct troubleshooting and remediation
5. Project Management:
- Undertake projects and assist stakeholders in project management procedures.
- Deliver digital projects on time through effective project and time management.
6. ICT Strategy and Planning:
- Formulate and direct ICT strategies, policies, and plans.
- Communicate and act in accordance with digital roadmaps and capability planning
7. Communication, Reporting, and Stakeholder Interaction:
- Effectively communicate with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Report to internal and external stakeholders on the progress and status of projects.
8. Additional Responsibilities and Project Work:
- Develop proposals from briefs and build digital products proof of concepts.
- Project work specific to supervisor request.
9. RKDN Cultural Support and Cultivation:
- Event ideation, planning and delivery
- Marketing and networking
- Social media contribution
- Participation in business sub-committees
10 ENGAGEMENT LEAD: Engagement Closure
- Completing retrospective engagement appraisal template to RKDN management.
- Producing a Case Study for the completed engagement.
