Due to growth, we're seeking a Fund Analyst to support the Mandates team. As our new Fund Analyst you’ll partner with our Investment Manager and help provide analytical and reporting support, this role is an integral part of the Mandates team and will work closely with the wider team of Fund Managers, Asset Managers, Portfolio Analyst and the wider business. To be successful in this position the Fund Analyst will have a strong background in commercial property industry. Key Responsibilities:
Ownership and maintenance of the Fund Model and Fund analysis incorporating all aspects of the portfolio (e.g., the assets, capital management and other relevant inputs)
Reviewing, analysing and reconciling of the Fund Model and Portfolio metrics
Providing various forms of data and analysis for internal and external reporting
Assisting senior investment analysts with requests when required
Prepare investment reporting and other reports for key stakeholders; quarterly & annually
Coordinate and prepare annual investment budget plan and presentation
Other ad-hoc duties
Qualifications & Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in in Commerce, Property Economics, Finance, Accounting or related discipline experience
CFA or post graduate Finance (desirable)
4+ years post tertiary work experience in property industry or investment banking as an analyst or with a strong management accounting or valuations background
Experience building, using and/or reviewing financial models
Experience working in property funds management
Experience working with acquisition, development and funds models
Skills:
Highly numerate and skilled in financial modelling and analysis
Advanced Excel skills (experience using pivot tables, macros, lookup formulae)
Strong PowerPoint skills
Working knowledge of property forecasting systems including valuations
Strong organisation & planning skills to meet deadlines, balancing ad-hoc and core activities, whilst remaining detail focused
Strong written and verbal communication skills
