As a Senior IMA Analyst for the individually or separately managed accounts also covers discretionary accounts, you will perform and monitor the core Investment Administration function within the team. You will also provide leadership and guidance to team members, be instrumental in the allocation of changing workloads amongst the team and act as an escalation point for client issues.
In your first week in this role, you can expect to:
- Perform daily cash and asset reconciliations to various custodians
- Process and instruct various client transactions
- Liaise with Fund Managers, Brokers and Custodians to ensure settlement of all transactions
- Provide effective client communication, including responding to all client queries and requests in a timely manner
- Calculation of client monthly fees and interest
To apply for this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years of operational experience coming for a global custodian or a fund administrator or a financial services firm or equivalent business within the investment ecosystem. Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business or Mathematics are preferred. You will also require the following:
- The ability to work well under pressure
- A high level of attention to detail
- Be a team player
- Possess high levels of communication and analytical skills
- An understanding and interest in financial markets.
