Job Description:
We are seeking a driven individual for the role of Fundraising Campaigns Manager. This is an exciting career opportunity to join our award-winning Fundraising & Philanthropy team, on a full-time, 12-month contract (maternity leave cover), commencing July 2024.
Based at our Brisbane Corporate Office, with the added flexibility to work from home, this position is pivotal in diversifying and expanding fundraising income streams, focusing on peer-to-peer (P2P) and community fundraising initiatives. As the primary strategist and manager of multifaceted P2P campaigns, you'll play a key role in contributing to the RFDS's strategic goals.
You will work closely on one of the biggest developing events in our Fundraising calendar, the RFDS Oceans to Outback Campaign! Over recent years, the campaign has seen remarkable growth, and you will have the opportunity to drive it’s continued success.

Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the Fundraising Campaigns and community team
- Implement a collaborative project management approach to proactively lead internal and external stakeholders responsible for delivering elements of each campaign to ensure program KPIs are reached
- Liaise with agencies, consultants and suppliers to ensure P2P campaigns and materials are to brief, to budget and meet deadlines
- Maintain successful interpersonal relationships with campaign prospects, donors, staff, and stakeholders
- Actively contribute to the development and tracking of budget income and expenditure
- University Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar
- 5-7 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing large Fundraising Campaigns and P2P programs
- Ability to lead, motivate and inspire team members to achieve strategic goals
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and project management skills
- Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand relational databases and analyse data to maximise campaign success
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritise conflicting deadlines
