We now have an exciting opportunity for a Future Student Advisor to join our Marketing team. The role is full time, fixed term until April 2025 and based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas. Remuneration is HEWL 6: $83,115 - $90,022 with up to 17% superannuation.

WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE 

With a strong focus on developing customer relationships, you will drive the demand for JCU’s products and services through business development, marketing and sales strategies and campaigns. As part of the Marketing Future Students team, you will develop mutually beneficial relationships formed around a Customer Value Proposition. Assisting and attracting students, including mature-age learners in guiding through the enrolment process and facilitating their transition into our academic community. The role involves market-facing interactions which requires occasional travel within the region and between campuses. 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE 

In addition to a degree in Teaching, Marketing, Communications, Events or a related field, you will have experience in sales and be confident using a range of applications including the Microsoft Office suite, marketing automation, content management systems, customer relationship management systems and social media platforms. Your well-developed communication skills and ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships will be essential to succeed in this rewarding sales related role. Bringing extensive experience in overseeing student recruitment, marketing, or career counseling strategies and initiatives is a key asset for this position.
