As the Gallery Officer, Digital & Programs, you will be responsible for undertaking marketing and promotional activities, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with administration within the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery.
- Permanent, part-time position (14 hours per week).
- Remuneration package of $851.32 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $1,021.59 gross per fortnight based on part-time hours of work + superannuation (11%).
- Additional hours including evening and weekend work may be required.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities.
This position will be responsible to:
- Undertake marketing and promotional activities for the Art Gallery’s operations, including exhibitions, public engagement activities, events and collections.
- Maintain and develop the Art Gallery’s online and social media profile.
- Provide support for Art Gallery public engagement activities and events.
- Maintain and update the Art Gallery image library through documentation of exhibitions and events.
- Develop media releases and content to market and promote the Art Gallery
- Provide excellent customer service to Art Gallery audiences and visitors.
- Assist with the daily operations and presentation of the Art Gallery exhibitions and public spaces.
- Undertake tasks associated with the general operations of the Art Gallery as directed
As the successful applicant, you will hold:
- Qualifications relevant to the role including Marketing, Communications and Graphic Design.
- Experience in marketing and promotion activities.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, Canva and Adobe Suite i.e., Illustrator and InDesign.
