IGT is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of gaming products and systems. IGT Australia provides a range of gaming products, systems and services to the Club, Hotel and Casino industries.
We are searching for an inspired Game Artist to join our Sydney Game Studio making amazing games and player experiences.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and creating exceptional in-game art and animation content utilising a wide variety of industry standard software applications.
- Preparation and handover of art and animation assets to software engineers for game-engine implementation.
- Being an advocate for artistic and technical excellence.
- Actively participating in and contributing to creative brainstorming meetings.
- Following digital asset management and version control practises.
- Being passionate about games, emerging art-trends and technology!
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of professional art production experience working in a game development studio or aligned industry.
- An amazing portfolio of work that showcases your craft and passion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A wonderful eye for detail and quality.
What We’re Looking For:
- A generalist and a craftsperson; Designing and creating static and animated game content i.e. characters, animals, creatures, objects, environments and logos across a range of art genres.
- A great eye for graphic, illustrative and motion design.
- Development experience creating assets for games/applications using Unity or Unreal.
- A proactive self-starter and an awesome team collaborator!
Extra Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:
- Spine 2D.
- ZBrush.
- 3D modelling, rigging, animation (Maya, 3DS Max).
- Traditional art and drawing.
- Realtime particles and post FX (specifically Unity Shader Graph)
- UI/UX Design.
- Prior gaming industry experience.
