About the role
As an illustrator for gaming, you are responsible for designing and creating game assets, buttons, characters, and sprite sheets according to project requirements
Hand off your design to our IT developer through Figma
Actively participate and contribute to game meetings
Manage the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the project
Deliver the production based on the timeline and ensure progress is on plan
Manage and organize all game design documents
Review market trends and competitors
Your skills and experience
Skills in creating 2D/3D gaming character and sprite sheet on Spine
Excellent skills in Adobe suite (especially Photoshop, illustration, and After Effects)
Experience with Figma is a plus
Good knowledge of design basics (lighting, composition, perspectives, texturing, coloring, etc.)
Expert in UI design for website
Attention to details
A tertiary level degree in design or related discipline or equivalent
Also would be great if you could …
Have previous gaming industry experience
Have excellent communication skills with other team members and organization skills
Be self-motivated to succeed and proactive to improve techniques and skills
