About the role
- As an illustrator for gaming, you are responsible for designing and creating game assets, buttons, characters, and sprite sheets according to project requirements
- Hand off your design to our IT developer through Figma
- Actively participate and contribute to game meetings
- Manage the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the project
- Deliver the production based on the timeline and ensure progress is on plan
- Manage and organize all game design documents
- Review market trends and competitors
Your skills and experience
- Skills in creating 2D/3D gaming character and sprite sheet on Spine
- Excellent skills in Adobe suite (especially Photoshop, illustration, and After Effects)
- Experience with Figma is a plus
- Good knowledge of design basics (lighting, composition, perspectives, texturing, coloring, etc.)
- Expert in UI design for website
- Attention to details
- A tertiary level degree in design or related discipline or equivalent
Also would be great if you could …
- Have previous gaming industry experience
- Have excellent communication skills with other team members and organization skills
- Be self-motivated to succeed and proactive to improve techniques and skills
