About the Role
Our Corporate Finance and People & Culture functions provide the support, advice and financial expertise that enables Tabcorp to achieves its vision and objectives. Supporting these functions is our Line 1 Risk & Compliance – Corporate team which identifies and manages risk, monitors compliance and ensures these functions understand their risk and legislative obligations.
As a Risk & Compliance Advisor – Corporate you’ll support and execute business risk controls and ensure that regulatory compliance obligations are met, business risks are mitigated, and financial processes are optimised. Specifically, you will:
- help organise the Corporate Risk & Compliance Committee, including coordinating papers, minutes and actions;
- support the maintenance of Finance and People & Culture risk registers and work with the business to ensure the completion of risk, regulatory and internal audit actions;
- review and analyse incidents across corporate functions including managing Post Incident Reviews.
- support stakeholders in relation to compliance monitoring activities including maintenance of obligation and control registers and completing compliance attestations. and
- support in the identification and development of appropriate controls to ensure ongoing compliance with key regulations.
About You
To be successful in this role you’ll ideally come from a background in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or consulting and preferably within large, highly regulated and corporate functions. You’ll also possess:
- relevant tertiary qualifications in a commercial, risk management or business-related field;
- a methodical and systematic work approach with excellent time management;
- well-developed problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making abilities; and
- outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills which enable you to engage, influence and negotiate with a broad range of senior stakeholders.

Location
This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
