Gardeners/Chemical Sprayer - ACT Gov't

Do you have your Chemical Certification? We are Currently seeking staff for ASAP Starts - ongoing casual role offering 38+ hours per week + overtime.

Positions will be based out of various depots around the ACT and will be responsible for maintaining the ACT's public parks and spaces.

Position requirements include:
 

• Chemical Certification - IS A MUST HAVE
• Construction Induction Card (White Card) /Asbestos Awareness training & Prevention of Silica Exposure Course Training - IS A MUST HAVE
• Mowing experience  on ride on Mowers and ability to use gardening tools including blowers, whipper snippers etc wil be looked at fovourably
• HR Drivers License preferred but not essential (Class C Drivers essential) Must be manual
• Full PPE - Long work pants /  Long sleeve Hi-visibility shirt Orange and Work Boots
• Ability and willingness to perform Litter picking duties
• Ability and willingness to perform cleaning duties
• Good team player who can take direction
• High level of and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
• Police  check  also required
