Role
The Akron Group NT is currently seeking a hands-on Gardening Team Leaderto join our team. This is an opportunity to be part of an excellent team that provides grounds maintenance and development across our client sites in the Darwin CBD. You will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of the grounds across our clients’ sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to the grounds team
- Ensure the sites are always maintained and presented at a high standard
- Operate a range of mowers and other small plant equipment
- Weed & pest control – spraying and manual weeding
- Ensure compliance of all occupational health and safety processes and procedures
About You
To join our team, ideally you will have experience in gardening and landscaping, with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have
- Qualification or experience in horticultural parks and gardens, gardening and landscaping
- Current driver's license & white card
- Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
- Execute work that is of a high standard
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems.
