SalaryQualified Gas Fitters / Plumbers required for busy camper trailer and caravan manufacturer. Guaranteed 38 hours per week. This is a fulltime position, 4 weeks holidays included, public holidays, sick pay etc.
We are also open to Part Time, Semi Retired Gas Fitters / Plumbers for those looking for a few days per week.
MDC are a recognised Australian company dedicated to designing and manufacturing what are arguably the Australia's most affordable, reliable off road Camper Trailers. Recently there has been a huge demand for our product and we are in desperate need for the right people to help us in our busy workshop.
Duties may also include Gas Accessory and Plumbing fit out on Camper Trailers and caravans, and testing/certifying to Australian Standards. Candidates need to be reliable, honest, trustworthy and have attention to detail. We have a close knit team with modern equipment and facilities. Immediate start to the selected candidates. 6 month full time probationary period will apply.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, experienced skilled operators who want to be part of the assembly team building off-road Camper Trailers & Caravans.
You will need to be/have:
- Current Qld Gas Licence (essential)
- Available for an immediate start
- Strong OH&S Focus
- High attention to Detail a must
- Gas Fitter / Pluming Trade (essential)
- Ability to sign off on your own work (essential)
- Ability to learn new tasks efficiently
- Ability to work quickly & efficiently and produce quality
- Must work well in a team
- Willing to work overtime if required
Assembly of gas Systems on Campers and Caravans and certification prior to delivery to customers
Pre-delivery inspections on new products
This is not an assembly line; it is a very hands on, practical role that requires you to be accountable for the quality of each individual fit out.
On offer is an immediate start, full time permanent position for the right candidates.
Guaranteed 38 hours per week minimum.
