A Gas Plant Electrician for PIMS Group you will be ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the mine's gas extraction and distribution systems. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in Gas Plants, guaranteeing the reliability of gas monitoring and control equipment. The position requires a unique blend of electrical expertise, a profound understanding of mining operations, and a commitment to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in challenging underground environment, contributing significantly to the mine's operational excellence and safety standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in EEHA environments;
• Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical (Preferred, not essential); 
• Current LVR/CPR Qualifications; 
• Trade Certificate; 
• Current HV Switching Qualification; 
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to promote a safety-first culture;
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills;
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment.
