The main areas of focus are:

• Support in the field of Information Technology; responsible for IT- and telecommunication equipment (network, systems, and security), first point of contact for colleagues for laptop, network and software problems, management of hardware
• Driving services; dedicated driver of the Ambassador, responsible for vehicle management
• Support in the field of housing matters; monitor maintenance and supervise works for several owned properties, handyman/woman for small works around the Embassy

What we are looking for:We are looking for an energetic and service-minded multitasker who can provide support to the Embassy in Canberra in an enthusiastic and independent manner. You can communicate well both in writing and verbally, you have good organization and planning skills and -occasionally as needed- are willing to work outside regular duty hours. You are a confident driver.Required skills:

• Year 12 certificate and/or relevant vocational education or equivalent working experience
• Affinity with Information Technology
• Hold a valid Australian driver’s license
• English proficiency

A police clearance/certificate of good conduct is a prerequisite.What we offerWe are recruiting a full-time General Affairs Assistant for 38 hours per week.
