Position Description This role will see you taking responsibility for the full range of legal and corporate governance functions across the business. You will take on the responsibility for all construction, corporate and funds matters including: Providing strategic advice to all business areas with a particular focus on construction, real estate, and corporate; Advising on legislative changes across the real estate and construction industry; Leading high level negotiations; Educating and training the team in respect of legal and regulatory matters; managing disputes as and when they arise; Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies; and Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and external legal advisers. Requirements The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 Years post admission experience in the construction industry. You will be in a senior role within your current organisation and entirely comfortable with the prospect of dealing with the executive and running the legal function. In addition to construction law, ideally you will have had exposure to property developments, property funds and corporate governance.
