General Hand - Roads & Drainage Maintenance - Multiple Roles
If you have an excellent work ethic and an interest in working with plant, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. This is a great role to get a foot in the door at council, ideal if you are a school leaver or someone looking for their next challenge.
We want individuals who have the drive and interest to work as part of a team, we can provide the training and tools for the right people. As a part of your new role, we will support you in completing a Certificate III in Civil Construction, as well as other training opportunities including a variety of plant.
This role would ideally suit people who thrive in a team environment and enjoy being involved with a variety of hands on labouring tasks associated with the maintenance and construction of roads, drainage, bridges, culverts and public spaces all under the general supervision of a Team Leader or Overseer.
As a bonus, working at Council you also get the benefit of a 9 day fortnight, flexible working provisions and the opportunity for overtime.
