Our Client:
Our client holds a prominent position as a market leader, providing an extensive range of civil services to the wastewater industry. They stand as one of the largest restoration companies in Australia, boasting a successful operational history spanning 30 years. Given the substantial number of projects lined up for the next 10+ years, they are currently seeking skilled laborers to join their workforce, focusing on projects in the Sydney Metro Area.
The Role:
The role will consist of opening inspection panels and testing properties with smoke machines. You will be teamed up with the plumber and tasked with inspecting an allotted amount of properties per day. If smoke is exiting the ground where there is no connection to the sewer lines, this indicates a place where rain or surface water could enter the sewer system. During a smoke test, a work crew will walk the neighborhood, take pictures of any faults in the system where smoke is coming out of the ground, and mark locations for repair.
Overall between the two teams, 781 properties are listed for inspection, with an estimated length of two months/6 week work.
