Financial Accountant to join their agile and proficient finance team. The preferred candidate will have a candidate from a chartered background, showcasing a strong history in financial accounting and commercial insight acquired within a sizable organization. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this position entails a diverse array of corporate accounting responsibilities encompassing both financial and management accounting functions..
In the role you will:- Compile monthly financial reports and conduct thorough analysis.
- Oversee end-of-month journals and reconcile balance sheets.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, fluctuations, and irregularities.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and maintain associated workbooks.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for stakeholder presentations.
- Assist in the audit process by preparing audit work papers and addressing audit inquiries.
- Conduct monthly reviews of asset capitalization, collaborating with site teams, maintaining documentation.
About you:- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience post-qualification.
- Solid grasp of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar large ERP systems is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrates exceptional work ethic and thrives in collaborative team environments to meet deadlines.
