LAI Group are seeking a General Maintenance Labourer/Groundskeeper to join the LAI Group family. 

Schedule

Full-time 

A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).

Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).

The Position

LAI Group are seeking an experience General Maintenance Labourer/Groundskeeper that is an all-rounder who can attend to the appearance and maintenance of private properties of the Employer and the manufacturing site located at Ferryden Park.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain scheduled grounds maintenance and presentation of the gardens including pruning of plants, hedging, weeding, fertilising, and watering.
• Conduct landscaping activities as necessary.
• Cleaning tasks, including but not limited to cobwebbing, guttering & down pipes, paths.
• General house maintenance and upkeep (i.e., repairing of walls/roof)
• Complete all other non-specified gardening and grounds maintenance tasks as requested.
• Mulch garden beds according to best practice as required.

The Candidate

The appropriate candidate would be someone who has experience and knowledge when it comes to construction and general site maintenance. 

The successful applicant will preferably have:

• Drivers licence essential.
• Experience in agricultural or private farm management (highly regarded).
• Experience with gardening equipment including ride-on mowers.
• Self-starter who is motivated and able to work independently.
• Timely and hardworking.
• Good eye for detail
• Trustworthy and reliable.
