Form of workMAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (but not limited to)
- To undertake any general Maintenace needs
- Communicate with Maintenance Manager on upcoming work.
- Report on maintenance needs
- Unload & load delivery trucks as needed.
- Ensure yard is kept tidy and maintained.
- Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed.
- Be required to work Saturdays for maintenance.
- Maintain / inspect equipment.
- Undertake general welding repairs.
- Corrective and preventative repairs and maintenance
- Use of hand tools, power tools and equipment.
- Operate forklift, scissor lift, and other plant.
- Store, mix and transfer chemicals in accordance with SOP’s and the Control of Hazardous Substances program.
- Maintain our wastewater system.
- Follow and maintain Good Housekeeping duties.
- Correctly follow the personal hygiene procedure and wear the allocated PPE required for the specified area.
- Follow any relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain storage rooms in an orderly manner.
- Ensure all food safety and WH&S requirements are being met.
Qualifications:
- Forklift licence
- Motorbike / HR/HC truck licence (highly desirable)
- Trade qualifications and experience (highly desirable)
Experience:
- Have knowledge and understanding in Dairy Processing or similar industry.
- Sound knowledge and expertise with food process systems.
- Previous experience in Maintenace role
