About Central Tablelands Water
Central Tablelands Water County Council is a constituency of three local government areas, namely, Blayney Shire, Cabonne Shire and Weddin Shire providing drinking water to 14 towns and villages across the Central West of NSW.
What we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced and capable General Manager to lead CTW. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior management, preferably within the water management sector or a related field.
You will be responsible for implementing Council policies, managing resources effectively, and fostering strong relationships with the community, staff, and stakeholders. Key skills and attributes include:
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Strong financial and resource management skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Commitment to community engagement and understanding of rural community needs
- Ability to motivate staff and cultivate a positive organisational culture
