With the full support and backing of the Managing Director you will be provided an extensive and personal onboarding experience that will familiarise yourself with all aspects of the business. The Managing Director will then take a back seat to provide you the autonomy and space to lead the organisation through it's next growth phase and ongoing evolution.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Develop and execute strategic business plans for growth and profitability
- Consistently maintain and execute the company vision and lead the team towards achieving goals
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure success
- Plan and conduct monthly team meetings to provide training, feedback and alignment on current and future business activities
- Support, train, mentor, and manage the high-performing team
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Oversee daily expenditure and bill processing
- Facilitate fortnightly bill payments with final authorisation and confirmation
- Analyse financial data to optimize costs and increase revenue
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Oversee all day-to-day operations and processes including Sales operations, stock management, purchasing & warehouse operations
- Equipment servicing - oversee scheduling, reporting, invoicing & quality of work
- Act as a final decision maker on daily operational tasks
- Identify limitations or shortcomings in business operations and coordinate resources to implement, track and improve business performance
- Manage and coordinate external contractors to work with the business to achieve ROI and cohesive value in operations
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Evaluate and select reliable suppliers for medical gas and resuscitation equipment
- Negotiate favourable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
- Stay updated on new product offerings and industry trends
- Identify opportunities to expand or diversify the product line
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for procured products
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize procurement costs while maintaining quality
- Drive sales strategies to expand customer base and market share
- Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional service
- Extensive experience as a General Manager or Senior Operations Executive looking to take the next step in your career
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic and operational leadership
- Collaborative, caring and inspiring leadership style
- Excellent business and financial acumen
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills
- The ability to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups
- Proven negotiation skills
- Experience leading a multi-faceted organisation with a small, but highly attentive team
- Medical device industry experience will be highly regarded but not essential
