About the Role
As the General ManagerClinical Excellence, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and high-quality services, leading the Aged Care and Disability Service Team, driving Clinical Excellence, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic planning.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and implement clinical governance systems, policies, and procedures that align with Carers ACT Clinical Governance Framework
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement by providing leadership, guidance, and support to the services team.
- Ensure that client safety and quality improvement systems are in place and functioning effectively.
- Monitor and report on clinical performance and effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
- Partner with clients to ensure that their needs, goals, and preferences are met, and that they are involved in decisions about their care.
This is a senior role within the organisation that caries with it the opportunity to influence the future direction and growth of Carers ACT through contributions to the strategic and operational planning, business development and financial management.
About You
You are an innovative, change-oriented leader who enables and empowers others. You demonstrate accountability, effective decision-making, approachability, vulnerability, and a commitment to growing knowledge and capability. You bring the following qualification and skills to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in nursing, health, aged care, or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration.
- 3+ years proven management experience in clinical, aged care, or disability services, with a deep understanding of health and community care systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Aged Care Standards and NDIS Practice Standards.
- Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills.
- Exceptional leadership, organisational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Essential
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (including NDIS activities)
- Up-to-date COVID vaccinations
- Current Police check
