About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Dean (UniSA Education Futures), the General Manager will:
- Lead the process for development and implementation of annual business plans and strategic development and improvement projects delivering on the strategic goals, culture and service priorities of the Academic Unit and wider University
- Oversee operational management of UniSA Education Futures, providing strategic, commercial, budgetary, policy and governance advice to ensure appropriate support services and resources
- Lead, manage and mentor professional staff to provide excellent service delivery and operational support to the teaching programs and research activities
- Develop strong relationships with Deans of Programs, the Dean of Research, Communications and Marketing, and UniSA International to support undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment plans for the Academic Unit's programs
- Manage the industry/professional accreditation requirements of the relevant disciplines within the Academic Unit in collaboration with the Deans of Programs and Dean of Research

Essential Skills and Experience
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a multi-disciplinary environment managing large scale resources
- A leadership track record of successfully managing multi-disciplinary and resilient teams supported by constructive leadership and performance development
- Strategic planning experience incorporating workforce planning and resource allocations
- Successful achievement in leading, motivating and managing effective partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to analyse and navigate complex funding arrangements, demonstrate commercial acumen, develop business cases and lead systemic compliance with policies and procedures
