The General Manager and Head of Programming will work as a team to lead the organisational and creative programming for this flagship youth arts organisation. Reporting direct to the CEO, these roles are pivotal in delivering on Carclew’s ten-year strategic vision to have the greatest impact on the greatest number.These roles are central to our commitment to create a great culture at Carclew where every team member feels valued, empowered, and supported. - New role leading a dynamic team: Guide a team of experts in finance, operations, grants programs, and marketing to drive Carclew’s vision.
- Shape the future of youth arts: Play a pivotal role in amplifying and elevating the youth arts sector locally and nationally through leading our grants program
- Be part of building a great organisational culture: Help us develop Carclew's culture as a great place to work.
- Lead the finance and operations team to deliver high-quality support across the organisation.
- Prepare annual budgets and funding program acquittals, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
- Oversee day-to-day administration and governance, implementing systems for effectiveness and compliance.
- Lead marketing and development efforts, nurturing relationships with stakeholders and ensuring fundraising success.
- Manage Carclew’s grants programs, celebrating and storytelling the impact of funded artists.
- Ensure operational excellence and safety across Carclew sites, including maintenance and risk management.
- Submit a cover letter (no more than 2 pages)
- Provide a current CV with three referees
