About the Role
We are seeking an experienced financial leader to join Team Global Express in a General ManagerGroup FP&A, Analytics, and Systems role. A newly created strategic leadership role primarily function is to advance and uplift our financial planning and analysis function through the automation and optimisation of reporting platforms and financial systems. As a key player, you will develop a robust, group-wide reporting framework, lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide critical support for strategic and operational decisions.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to synthesize data from multiple business intelligence sources, generating insights that drive business performance and oversee the enhancement and maintenance of financial systems ensuring efficiency and scalability. Your team will also be responsible for the consolidation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring adherence to established KPIs and timelines, and providing strategic financial support to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include;
Develop and implement Group Reporting Framework enhancing efficiency and accuracy across the organisation.
Lead and refine the group budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Synthesize data from multiple business intelligence sources to generate actionable insights that drive business performance.
Liaison between technology, data teams, and finance to enhance financial and reporting systems, and simplify, standardise, and automate both management and statutory reporting processes.
Deliver timely, insightful performance reports to C-Suite executives, shareholders, and key stakeholders.
Oversee and maintain financial systems, with a focus on automation and standardisation.
Streamline financial workflows, automating repetitive tasks to enhance data processing efficiency.
Establish and enforce data quality controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.

Maximise the utility of existing systems, such as Oracle TM1 and Power BI, to elevate financial performance.
About You
You are a strategic finance leader with a proven track record in FP&A, analytics, and Systems management from a large complex organisation. Your exceptional analytical skills, coupled with your ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly, set you apart. You excel in dynamic environments and are committed to driving continuous improvement and innovation. You possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and the flexibility to drive and manage change. Your mindset enables you to quickly understand complex requirements, while your effective team leadership and collaboration skills allow you to influence outcomes. You uphold high standards of honesty, integrity, and professionalism, and can manage multiple priorities with speed and efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven leadership in managing transformative commercial finance in a matrix environment.
Strong ability to translate financial concepts to IT and vice versa.
Extensive experience with financial systems implementation and optimisation (Oracle, TM1, Power BI).
Advanced stakeholder negotiation and influencing skills.
Expertise in driving process standardisation and simplification.
Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data.
Experience in high-pressure, ambitious environments focused on delivering results.
